CTAS is offering a new service: financial aid appeals on contingency.  We can help you or your clients save thousands of dollars by providing polite, professional financial aid appeals, whether due to change in circumstance or because you have received better offers from other colleges.

This service is done on a contingency basis - you will only be charged if the college increases its financial aid, lowering your cost, AND you put down a deposit to attend. There are no upfront fees and no fixed costs of any kind.

If the financial aid appeal is successful AND you place a deposit with the college, you will owe CTAS a % of the first year’s financial aid increase, up to a dollar limit.  If the financial aid appeal fails to increase the aid, you owe us nothing.  If the college offers more financial aid but you decide in the end not to enroll and do not deposit money, you owe us nothing.  You only pay if you save real money.  

How it works: Send us all your financial aid award letters along with information about your GPA & test scores, your college preferences/rankings, state of residence, your annual income & Expected Family Contribution, and any changes to your family’s financial situation since filing the FAFSA or CSS Profile forms.  All your personal information is kept strictly confidential, will not be divulged to third parties and is covered by this Policy.  To make an appeal, we will return fully completed appeal letters to the student to be sent to a specified address.  No research and barely any work for you.

CTAS has an extensive database of undergrad costs covering over 3,000 US colleges to help us make an educated assessment of the odds of improving your financial aid offer.  If we decide you’ve received favorable offers in line with the market, we will tell you as much, but you can decide to appeal anyway and we will continue to help you in that situation.  CTAS will be there for you, to engage, answer questions and support your college career.  Read more about the service here.
